Whether virtually or in-person, we use the power of creativity, inclusion and engagement to bring our content to life! Selections can be made á-la-carte or packaged. Fees are customized to fit your groups specific needs.

Nonprofit Workshops, Classes and Presentations

We provide professional development opportunities across a variety of topics focused on building organizational effectiveness. Our current menu is provided below. All selections are available for delivery as a half-day workshop, multi-week course or one-hour presentation and may be modified for virtual or in-person delivery. No matter your preference, we partner with you to create an extraordinary experience.


Menu of Professional Development Experiences

  • Retention of donors is a dilemma faced by an overwhelming percentage of nonprofits. This workshop will cover how to build a stewardship plan, executing that plan and how to turn donors into your biggest advocates. Participants will leave with specific steps to help build a culture of philanthropy across their organization.

  • Building a pipeline for cultivation of new gifts is important for nonprofit growth. This workshop provides participants with specific strategies for building a cultivation plan, the elements needed to execute that plan and how to build a donor pipeline that aligns with those funding priorities.

  • Securing donations and having processes in place to manage those donor relationships are critical to the success of your organization. This workshop teaches participants how to manage the various components of a development department. Participants will learn best practices for maintaining their donor database, what it takes to build an effective donor communications plan, and how to ensure alignment across key departments that intersect with development.

  • Building equity and culture is a continual work in progress for organizations. This learning experience covers key elements of culture and what teams can do to improve working relationships, manage conflict constructively and increase respect for one another—all key ingredients to building a better culture. We help teams get started by building and implementing a strategy that incorporates diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging while providing the tools needed to evaluate progress along the way.

  • This workshop provides a foundation for organizations to build a holistic marketing plan that includes content strategy, execution, conversion, and analytics. Participants will walk away with best practices in building a marketing plan and digital content strategy.

  • Learning the essential skills to execute your next event can be an effective way to increase current donor loyalty and attract new donors to your organization. You will leave this session with the resources needed to meet your fundraising event goals while simultaneously providing guests with an unforgettable experience.

  • Ensuring your organization has an impact within the communities you serve is paramount. Participants will leave this session with specific steps on how to assess their programming, when to create new programs, how to market your programs and best practices on building a rubric to assess both qualitative and quantitative outcomes.

  • This training will provide you with the competencies you need to manage a grants department. Attendees will walk away with the skills needed to research grants, build a proposal team, write a compelling application, manage deadlines and create a resource library that contains the elements needed to manage the grant lifecycle.

  • Learn how to position your programs and offerings for major sponsorships, how to build a sponsorship model and key elements needed to build win-win benefits packages. Participants will also learn best practices on how to find new sponsors and keep them engaged year-round.

  • This workshop will provide a step-by-step strategy to build a solid vision and plan for development revenue generation. We will review the pros and cons of diversifying your funding streams, why a revenue model is important, managing risk, and guidelines to help determine what revenue mix is right for your mission.

Coaching for Nonprofit Professionals

Having an individualized or small group professional coach for current or new team members is an effective way to build organizational capacity. Our coaching sessions are geared towards tenured and new nonprofit professionals alike, with roles in executive leadership, development, marketing, talent, people & culture, operations, volunteer management and program impact. Coaching sessions are available á-la-carte or may be  packaged and customized to fit your needs.
